IndianOil NTPC Green Energy Private Limited (INGEL) is a 50:50 joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL). Established on June 2, 2023, INGEL is dedicated to delivering 650 MW of Round-the-Clock (RTC) Renewable Energy through innovative and sustainable projects across Gujarat and other locations in India.
The project configuration includes:
• 800 MW of Solar Energy
• 1,000 MW of Wind Power
• 1,200 MWh of Energy Storage
To ensure long-term energy security and sustainability, INGEL has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with IOCL. This agreement guarantees a reliable supply of renewable RTC power for IOCL’s new and upcoming projects, contributing to India's clean energy goals and fostering sustainable development.
