Mr. Sarit Maheshwari is CEO of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) and CEO of NTPC Renewables Energy Limited (NREL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NGEL. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, a Master's in Power Generation Technology from IIT Delhi, and an MBA from IGNOU. He is taking various initiatives to reduce the carbon intensity, and coupled with ventures into e-mobility, green hydrogen, and waste management, reflects a comprehensive approach to environmental responsibility and forward-thinking energy practices. He is spearheading NTPC's Energy Transition program, which is aligned with global trends to mitigate climate change and transition towards more sustainable and cleaner energy sources.
