The ultimate goal is to have no occurrences that endanger its employees, neighbors, or plants. The business takes every action that is practically possible to guarantee worker safety.

The steps taken by NGEL towards the goal of “Zero Incident” include:

• Safety consciousness among its employees (own workforce and associates), their family members, and local villagers by means of various training programs, awareness programs and road shows.
• Adoption and implementation of safety system as per international norms.
• Regular plant inspections and reviews with the Head of Projects are undertaken for adherence to safety practices.
• Safety audits by the plant's own safety officer and their recommendations are regularly reviewed and duly complied with qualified safety officers are posted at all projects.
• For strict compliance and enforcement of safety norms and practices by contractors, safety clauses are included in the General Conditions of Contract.
