Mr. Rajiv Gupta, CEO of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), CEO of NTPC Renewables Energy Limited (NREL),a wholly owned subsidiary and Director of GVREL, a JV of NREL and DVC. He earned a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and later pursued an MBA in Finance from Delhi University. His dual expertise in engineering and finance makes him an asset in strategic decision-making. He started his career as an Executive Engineer Trainee in NTPC and worked at projects as well as in the Corporate Office's. He has rich experience of over 35 years in the power sector. Before taking over as CEO, he headed the Corporate Contracts division. He has expertise in strategic planning, policy formulation, and the implementation of systems to streamline the procurement process for large-scale power generation units, which played a crucial role in ensuring efficiency, transparency, and compliance with government regulations throughout the procurement phases. He is taking various initiatives to reduce the carbon intensity, and coupled with ventures into e-mobility, green hydrogen, and waste management, reflects a comprehensive approach to environmental responsibility and forward-thinking energy practices. He is spearheading NTPC's Energy Transition program, which is aligned with global trends to mitigate climate change and transition towards more sustainable and cleaner energy sources.

Mr. Shailendra, CEO of (GVREL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) in JV with Damodar valley corporation (DVC) and General Manager (Contact Services) / Head of Contract Services of NGEL and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NREL). He earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Aligarh Muslim university. He started his career as an executive engineer trainee at NTPC and worked on projects as well as in the corporate office. He has rich experience of over 35 years in the power sector. Before taking over the present post, he acquired expertise in strategic planning, policy formulations and the implementation of systems to streamline the procurement process for large scale power generation units, which played a crucial role in ensuring efficiency, transparency and compliance with government regulations throughout the procurement phases. He has worked in all the areas of procurement, be it project procurement, policy and system functions, site procurement and procurement in the renewable energy sector, adopting the reverse auction process.

He has more than 25 years of experience in Power sector in the field of Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Regulatory Affairs, Merger, Acquisitions etc. His extensive experience in Power sector and successful track record in managing the complex transactions makes him a crucial asset in strategic decision-making. He is also serving as CFO of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NGEL.
